While I don't think the Nid is the top carrier, I will say the arguments against it are a little off. Assuming a fleet just has 1 nid, then it will probably get primaried and if the opposing force has enough DPS, pop. But, if the fleet has say 5 nids, then while 1 will get primaried perhaps, the other 4 will be repping and will be able to make use of the bonus. In short, while I agree the bonus doesn't help if you're the target, only one Nid will be primary at a time, and all the others in the fleet will indeed benefit from the bonus.

They might be the easiest to jam, but that doesn't mean they are jammed 100%, and others are 0%. I still see some uses for the Nid, namely in large fleets. I wouldn't call them the best carrier, nor would I call them useless or even the worst, at least not in the large fleet situation.

I didn't mean to imply it doesn't matter, or matter a lot. And yes, that's the strategy for breaking a RR, but simply because there's a strategy to use against something though doesn't mean that something never works.

Have you ever tried to break RR circlejerks? Even with 4-5 carriers it requires s crapton of DPS or ewar (and tbh it's easier to find people with Caldari cruiser 4 than maxed out gankthron skills).

Exactly! Much better counter is to assemble a huge mass of Caracals with cruiser 4 trained, and blob the carriers!
